Upscale Mason Jars

A few months ago, I saw a picture of this craft project on Pinterest. I liked the idea so much, I had to make my own upscale mason jars. It’s a fun and expressive way to store your everyday items. Let your personality shine!

Supplies:

• Acrylic Paint
• Foam Brush
• Jar Lid and Seal
• Mason Jars
• Knobs (Hobby Lobby carries a huge selection)
• Super Glue
• Bamboo Skewers

Directions:

1. Use a metal drill bit or hammer and nail to make a hole in the middle of the jar seal.
2. Glue jar seal to lid.
3. Lay down newspaper to catch any paint drips. Put lids on bamboo skewers to prevent lids from sticking to the newspaper.
4. Paint lids. You may need 2-3 coats, depending on the color.
5. Screw knob in place.

A few storage ideas for your colorful mason jars: cotton balls, Q-Tips, hair clips, change, craft supplies, paper clips, binder clips.
