How do you organize your closet? Mine is organized by categories.
- Sleeveless tops
- Short-sleeved and three-quarter-sleeved tops
- Long-sleeved tops
- Sweaters
- Pants
- Dresses
- Vests
- Shoes – by type and color (flats, heels, sandals, tennis shoes, boots)
After I wear an item from a category, I hang it toward the back of the closet. This is my way of knowing what piece of clothing I’ve worn recently.
I’ve known people that like to organize by color or they group outfits together.
