Chocolate Crunch Cookies Gift

Don’t hate me for thinking about Christmas gifts already. If you need a gift idea for teachers, co-workers, neighbors, or family members, try this cookie mix in a jar idea.

Directions:

  1. Print out the recipe/instruction sheet.
  2. Trace the jar lid on cardstock paper. Cut out and attach to lid with double-stick tape.
  3. Punch a hole in the star.
  4. Fill a quart mason jar with the 8 listed ingredients.
  5. Twist on the mason jar lid.
  6. With ribbon, tie on the recipe/instruction sheet to the mason jar.

How many does the recipe make? What do they look like? Taste like? I don’t generally pass on a recipe or food which I haven’t already prepared and can answer questions about. Thanks

The recipe makes approximately 12 cookies. They look and taste like an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, with a twist (the Rice Krispies). Hope you enjoy!

Nancy…….I sure don’t hate you……I’ve been knee deep in Christmas for weeks now and if I have to be am finished with my gifts except for the neighbor gifts, etc. I even have them wrapped and decorated and stored in the basement. I do not have my decor up and will be Thankful but since we can’t gather in large groups won’t be getting together with the extended family for Thanksgiving so might put the trees up earlier than before. I’ve told my friends that if I get the virus my kids and grands and the new little great grand will have gifts!! Thanks for the recipe……I love jar gifts! Last year made mason jars into tissue dispensers for my girlfriends and they loved them! I craft to keep my sanity!! Nanci
