Eleven Brilliant Uses for Binder Clips

Eleven Brilliant Uses for Binder Clips

Binder clips were designed to hold together sheets of paper. However, they are good for so much more than that.

From tiny metal clips to extra-large ones, they are incredibly versatile in every part of your life. They are strong, inexpensive, and now come in lots of cute designs (or make your own cute design).

Here are 11 ways to use them everywhere:

  1. Ditch flimsy plastic chip clips for a binder clip. You’ll never go back.
  2. Roll up your toothpaste tube and clip in place.
  3. Clip to the top two sides of your trash can, over the bag, so the bag won’t slip down.
  4. Add a clip to the end of a wrapping paper roll so it won’t unravel in storage.
  5. Use one as a bookmark.
  6. Hold open a cookbook page while cooking by clipping together the pages and cover on both edges of the book.
  7. Hang up string and clip photos to it for a quick and easily changeable art gallery.
  8. Hold outdoor tablecloths in place on a windy day.
  9. Clip down parchment paper on the sides of a baking dish.
  10. Use as a hot glue gun stand.
  11. You lost that plastic cover that came with your shaving razor. If you throw the razor in your travel bag, it’s bound to cut you or something else in the bag. Travel-proof your razor by placing a binder clip over the blade.

What other ways do you use a binder clip?
