Do you always wake up with a smile and ready to start your day? Yeah, me neither. I would like my day to start that way, but I usually get up, take my dog outside, walk for 30 minutes (because if I don’t do it right away, I can think of too many excuses why I can’t do it later), take a shower, then I open my phone and POOF, it’s an hour later and I haven’t made any progress on my to-do list.

I have found that reading a few uplifting quotes sets the tone for the day. Hope it works for you too.

  • “Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.” – Maya Angelou

  • “With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
  • “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop
  • “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln
  • “In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.” – Les Brown
  • “The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.” – William Morris
  • “If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walt Disney
