Clay Gift Tags

Clay gift tags are fun to make! Not only do they give packages a homemade touch, they add some personality. It’s also a great activity for the kids.

Supplies:

  • Oven-bake Clay
  • Cookie Cutters
  • Screw
  • Texture Sheets, optional

Directions:

  1. Clean hands and have a clean work surface.
  2. Knead clay until soft and smooth, one-quarter inch thick.
  3. Cut shapes with cookie cutters. Use texture sheets or make your own design on the cutout.
  4. Using the screw, punch a hole for ribbon to go through.
  5. Bake on glass or metal surface at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.

The name tags can be made for birthday gifts, hostess gifts, Mother’s Day, or holiday packages. They can also be repurposed and used as a Christmas ornament.
