Easter this year falls on April 21st. You have plenty of time to make this cute wreath to celebrate the holiday.
Supplies:
- Paper Plate
- Egg-shaped Cookie Cutter
- Plain and Patterned Paper
- Glue Dots
- Ribbon
- Scissors
Directions:
- Cut out the inner portion of the paper plate, leaving an outer circle 1-1/2-inches thick.
- Trace the cookie cutter on the paper. Cut out 14 eggs (7 plain and 7 patterned).
- Using glue dots, stick the eggs to the paper plate, alternating plain and patterned eggs.
- Cut a piece of ribbon 24-inches long. Make a bow and glue to the top egg.
- Cut a piece of ribbon 8-inches long. Cross the end pieces, making a loop. Use a glue dot to stick the ends together, and another glue dot to stick the loop to the back of the paper plate.
- Hang the wreath from the loop and enjoy your craftsmanship!
Note: My egg cookie cutter measured 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches.
