Paper Easter Wreath

Easter this year falls on April 21st. You have plenty of time to make this cute wreath to celebrate the holiday.

Supplies:

  • Paper Plate
  • Egg-shaped Cookie Cutter
  • Plain and Patterned Paper
  • Glue Dots
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Cut out the inner portion of the paper plate, leaving an outer circle 1-1/2-inches thick.
  2. Trace the cookie cutter on the paper. Cut out 14 eggs (7 plain and 7 patterned).
  3. Using glue dots, stick the eggs to the paper plate, alternating plain and patterned eggs.
  4. Cut a piece of ribbon 24-inches long. Make a bow and glue to the top egg.
  5. Cut a piece of ribbon 8-inches long. Cross the end pieces, making a loop. Use a glue dot to stick the ends together, and another glue dot to stick the loop to the back of the paper plate.
  6. Hang the wreath from the loop and enjoy your craftsmanship!

Note: My egg cookie cutter measured 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches.
