Paper Winter Hats

This time of year, kids may be stuck inside due to cold temperatures or snow. This indoor project will keep kids entertained for hours as they can use their imagination and decorating skills.

Supplies:

• Hat template (see below)
• Crayons, stickers, dot markers
• White paper
• Scissors
• Cotton balls
• White school glue

Directions:

1. Print as many copies of the hat template as you need.
2. Let the kids color the hats. They may also decorate the hats with stickers.
3. Once the kids have decorated the hats, cut around the outline.
4. Add glue on top pom-pom and bottom of hat. Stick on cotton balls.

Brighten your home by taping the hats to your window, refrigerator, or mantle.
