Make a Ribbon and Jewelry Wreath

Get your creative juices flowing and make a beautiful wreath with ribbon and an old necklace.

Supplies:

  • 9-inch Styrofoam Circle
  • 4 yards of 1-inch wide Decorative Ribbon
  • 20 yards of 1/2-inch Plain Ribbon
  • Necklace you don’t wear anymore
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Cut the ribbon into 12-inch pieces.
  2. Tie the decorative ribbon (using a double knot), evenly spaced, on the Styrofoam circle.
  3. Fill in the blank areas with the plain ribbon.
  4. Trim any ribbon trails that are too long.
  5. Add an old necklace to add a splash of shimmer.

You can also make a wreath for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, or Halloween. The wreaths would also make an excellent gift idea.
